A collaboration of teachers and parents to inspire hands-on learning and fun with Lego robotics in Spokane
FIRST Lego League Jr teams are challenged to learn about cities and buildings in this season: "Boomtown Build."
Teams will explore the growing needs and challenges of the people in our community. Teams will help to imagine and create a building that solves a problem and makes life easier, happier, or more connected for the people that use it.
FIRST Lego League Jr. teams are made up of 3-5 children - age 6 to 9 years.
FIRST Lego League Jr teams of 2-5 students working with a parent guide will design and build a model related to the "Boomtown Build". There will be an Inspire model to include in each team's model. We will be using the WeDo 2.0 sets in our model and programming some part of the model to move.
Team Location: Westminster Congregational Church, 4th Avenue and Washington Street, Spokane Team meets Saturday mornings, 10:00 - 11:30 am for 7 weeks during each season. Fall Season and Spring Season Cost - is $50 for the season to share the team's national and state registration costs. Interested? contact Discovery Robots
